About Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF)

The platform is an initiative of Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) — a non-government, non-profit, non-partisan organization that represents the interest of working people in Bangladesh.

BLF works for the welfare of workers, working people, professionals, women, children, employees, and their families by undertaking various programs and projects. We share a common determination to organize, defend human rights and labour standards in Bangladesh, and promote the growth of trade unions for the benefit of all working men and women and their families.

BLF is committed to protecting the rights of all workers, creating a productive and economically independent society free from poverty and discrimination, where people can exercise their basic social and human rights. We promote social justice through activities focused on youth, women, children, and working people of Bangladesh.
